In that car, the one in which we’ve slept, though it was long ago. The air-condition still doesn’t work but you keep driving on. Maybe It’s time to quit dreaming and stop living in the past. Aren’t you afraid of being the one drawing the line? Living is easy with time on your hand but the time of my life is close to an end. Now I don’t see why I should even try to keep you near. Maybe It’s time to quit dreaming and stop living in the past. Aren’t you afraid of being the one drawing the line? Now I don’t see why I should even try to keep you near.

Cosmopolite 03:25
I won’t back down. No not this time. My Crafton guitar is resting ‘neath my hand. I got to get this thing off my chest. The letters that you send me is burning right through my fingers. How is it that there’s no positive thing about letters. Counting the months, one two three. Once I thought I was faster than a bullet and stronger than a train. I really whish that I could get my confidence back again. And even if it wasn’t so, there’s really nowhere else to go but straight ahead. Think about the things you got. Think about the fights we’ve fought. You used to be so young. You worry about the future and you dwell in the past. All I can ever think of is how we are gonna make this thing last. Keeping things together is all that matters. Once I thought I was faster than a bullet and stronger than a train. I really whish that I could get my confidence back again. And even if it wasn’t so, there’s really nowhere else to go but straight ahead.

Since I lost you to the northern parts of this land I’ve been thinking and I’ve been mourning and I’ve been crying my heart out. I’ve been thrown to the wolves, it’s like I’ve been thrown to the wolves. It’s like I’ve been thrown away. I have this old nightmare, I can’t barely tell you, but it’s been haunting me for days. You’re off somewhere and you’ve found something better and you’ve forgotten all about me. I’ve been thrown to the wolves, it’s like I’ve been thrown to the wolves. It’s like I’ve been thrown away. I don’t know what you’re doing, I sure wanna know so I keep calling all the time. I’ve been thrown to the wolves, it’s like I’ve been thrown to the wolves. It’s like I’ve been thrown away.

The only one 04:13
I met her one night it was dark outside, but the light and all the noise kept us awake and alive. It must have been two or three years since we last met and though I knew her face, I didn’t know her voice when she said. Do you still have your dreams or are they all gone, I’ve lost mine, and I wonder; Am I the only one? Am I the only one? And outside the rain started to fall... She said I always buy umbrellas but it’s always me that ends up wet and I say, I never buy one I always find one for free. Where are all the boys that use to follow my tale and where are all the girls that use to stand by me? Stand by me. Do you still have your dreams or are they all gone, I’ve lost mine, and I wonder; Am I the only one? Am I the only one?

Struggling for that last breath. No one will ever know how much I really cared for you. It takes a whole lot to even notice the desperate search for all the right words. Down to the bottomline I don’t even know why I still hold the door for you when all you seem to do is bring me down. Horses and guitars is all we ever talk about and I never seem to get around To ask you about the things you’ve done or the things you haven’t done. You promised that you would never leave. I’m a victim of my own deceive. Down to the bottomline I don’t even know why I still hold the door for you when all you seem to do is bring me down.

Jack's book 03:40
You always went home before all the fun had really begun. Yeah, you packed your bags and you headed straight home where you drank your wine. I can’t ever turn back time. And I could never read your mind. Busy of laughing, dancing and dreaming, wishing for something to believe in and you were always left behind. I can’t ever turn back time. And I guess that I should have called you sometimes, there’s no excuse what so ever. The world had me wrapped around it’s fingers and we’re miles apart. I can’t ever turn back time. And I could never read your mind. Laughing, dancing, drinking and dreaming, wishing for something real to believe in and you were always left behind. I can’t ever turn back time. You know the book that you read, the one you gave to me? I lost it somewhere on the road. The prize that we pay for a choice never made. I’m sorry, I had to go. I can’t ever turn back time. And I could never read your mind. Laughing, dancing, drinking and dreaming, wishing for something true to believe in and you were always left behind. I can’t ever turn back time.
